Here are a few layouts I completed for FH2S monthly challenges.
This first one was a 'stash challenge'. We were to use ribbon in 3 different ways. I covered a piece of card stock with ribbon, attempted a ribbon flower, and tied a piece of ribbon around the letter and used a safety pin through it.
This is Erika enjoying Destin Beach.
This was a journaling challenge. Our challenge was to journal about what inspires us. Music has always been an outlet for me, so I choose one of my favorite christian songs and created this layout. The title of the song is "Whatever You're Doing" by Sanctus Real.

Rockin' For The Lord
Erika let me take some crazy random shots of her one afternoon. She's my rocker chick, she loves christian rock!
I created this layout for a color challenge (brown, orange and teal had to be used on the layout) at FH2S and I used pieces of the Kraft Girl October Kit.
Check out that guitar pick...it's it cute LOL.

Scrappin' in The Dark
Many of you know we lost power and were without electric for 5 1/2 days...YIKES!! I did manage to scrap thank goodness. My scrapbooking supplies are in a room off the basement. It's very dark so I knew there was no way I could match papers etc. I had a freind from church who blessed me with a little kit she had gotten. There was no matching to be done thank goodness. This is a layout I created from our dolphin cruise from Destin Florida; the girls are enjoying the view.
Thanks for peeking!

Title to My 2008 Family Album
I wrote in the sand when we were visiting Destin Florida. This layout will be the title page for our 2008 Family album.
I was blessed to have this layout featured as the 'layout of the day' on 9/10 at FH2S....YIPPIE!
I created the layout for a recipe challenge.
Here's the challenge:
No patterned paper
One picture
One piece of White or Black cardstock
Flowers (any amount)
Brads (any amount)
Bling (any amount)
Chipboard letters
I painted and glittered Thickers and if you look closely, the 'i' is dotted with a shell from the beach.
Thanks for peeking!

September Challenge
Peggie Sue and Carla….your goodies will be in the mail early next week (winners for August).
Now for the September challenge. I just completed a challenge from FH2S and it really inspired me. My layout turned out better than I could have imagined and the best part was the layout turned out really cool! I’ll post a picture of it in the next day or so.
For now I’ll leave you with the challenge and if you need more inspiration, pop over to FH2S.
Challenge: Create a layout using at least 30 pieces of scrap pattern paper. OK, I know what you are thinking “WHAT?!” LOL!!.....I thought the same thing. But trust me, it’s easier than you think. Linda (from FH2S) created a layout making her own flowers; each of the petals were a piece of scrap pattern paper. Crystal (another member from FH2S) created a layout making a tree and each of the leaves were cut from different pieces of scrap pattern paper.
I promise you, it’s much easier than you think. So put those thinking caps on and I challenge you to complete this.
Whoever completes this challenge, place a link here on my blog and I’ll put your name in a hat and draw out a winner for a RAK.
Keep watching, I’ll upload my creation in the next day or so.

Erin is Bridging up from Brownie Girl Scouts to Junior Girl Scouts. As a Junior, Erika got to help with the ceremony. I and a friend were leaders of this troop, I think we had more fun than the girls :0)

Pamela Jean
This is my mom when she was a baby, wasn’t she beautiful! This photo was taken by my Grandfather, her dad, back in 1947 (he was a photographer).
I completed this challenge for “From Here 2 Scrapternity”. The challenge was to make the layout all black and white and use a hit of color.
